Michael Green is a seasoned labor relations strategist and executive consultant with over  25 years of experience advising public and private sector organizations. As the founder  and principal consultant of The Green Group, Michael leads a firm renowned for managing complex labor negotiations, crisis intervention, and organizational  transformation. 


Throughout his distinguished career, Michael has successfully closed high-stakes labor  contracts involving unions such as SEIU, AFSCME, and UHW across sectors including  healthcare, municipal government, and education. He is particularly recognized for  resolving labor disputes with minimal reputational impact, navigating crises such as  staffing shortages and regulatory challenges, and guiding senior leadership through  organizational change. 


Prior to launching The Green Group, Michael served as LA County Regional Director for  SEIU Local 721, representing over 18,000 union members and playing a pivotal role in  major negotiations, including contracts with the Department of Children and Family  Services. His unique experience on both sides of the bargaining table gives him  unmatched insight into union-management dynamics. 


Michael is known for his calm, solutions-focused leadership style and his ability to build  trust among diverse stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
